The 2015 International Sailing Federation Team Racing World Championship came to a close with a dominant USA team heading home with two Division titles. Three St. Maryโ€™s College Seahawks made up fifty percent of the USA1 team that streaked ahead of the competition to finish in the top spot and take home the Gold.

Alumni Justin Law โ€˜ 08, Adrienne Patterson Kamilar โ€™08, and Michael Menninger โ€™11 sailed with three other former college sailors (from two other teams) to win the regatta held this past week in Rutland, UK.

โ€œOur team is thrilled with our win and overall performance at Worlds,โ€ said Kamilar. โ€œWe have all worked very hard leading up to this point. St. Maryโ€™s College was an instrumental part in developing our team racing philosophy and Coach Adam [Werblow] and Bill [Ward] played a positive role in our sailing careers.โ€
