Leonardtown, MD— “Cooking and baking mean everything to me, I love making people happy with my food. I am glad I can share this with everyone,” said Jenna Long who recently placed first in the St. Mary’s County Fair.
A just recently the nation celebrated one of it’s most beloved holidays, National Cake Decorating Day. This day is celebrated every year on October. 10.
Many professional cake decorators start their careers as hobbyists. It allows you to express yourself in edible form. Long told TheBayNet.com, “that her grandmother had a huge influence on her and her chosen path in the cooking field.”
When asked what her baking dreams are, Jenna replied, “to one day have a storefront bakery, and go to school and excel.”
