
All around the state of Maryland prayer vigils are being held for Governor Larry Hogan and his fight against cancer.ย Sunday night, November 15th at 6 pm, a vigil took place in St. Maryโs County.ย
Life Community Church of God, led by Bishop Brian Shepard, hosted the event, and it was attended by several clergy and members of local churches.ย
Speakers included Pastor Michael Barber from Dominion Apostolic Ministries, Pastor Lori Hays from Lexington Park United Methodist Church, Pastor Henry Briscoe from the House of Disciples and Pastor Roderick McClanahan from the First Missionary Baptist Church.
The prayer vigil lasted about two hours and focused on praying for a cure for cancer, as well as healing for Gov. Hogan, who is battling non โ Hodgkinโs lymphoma.ย Delegate Ric Metzgar, who organized the event, mentioned his plans to hold a prayer vigil in every county in Maryland.
