UPDATE Friday, Sept. 9
Annapolis, MD – On Sept. 8, at 8:41 p.m., officers from the Annapolis Police Department (APD) arrested Brandon Johnson, 21 of Annapolis, for his role in the murder of Davon Jones, 25 of Dunkirk. Johnson was arrested in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.
Brandon Johnson was observed prior to the murder with the shooter. Brandon Johnson handed the shooter a gun that the shooter then used to murder Davon Jones.
Johnson has been charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime and four other charges related to the crime. Johnson is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $1,500,000 bond.
Detectives are still seeking information about this homicide. Annapolis, MD – On Saturday, Sept. 3 at 4:29 p.m. officers responded to the 800 block of Brooke Court for several reports of shots fired. Officers located a vehicle with an injured male victim inside. The victim was shot and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating this homicide.
The deceased victim of the homicide has been identified as Davon Jones, 25 of Dunkirk.
