Main Purpose: The main purpose of the Police Communications Operator is to facilitate officer safety by monitoring police radio transmissions and utilizing communications equipment to coordinate police activity.
Education: Graduation from a high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate.
Salary: $30,472 – $47,710/year
Benefits: State of Maryland benefits
Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts to provide 24/7 coverage
