Leonardtown, MD – Lt. Brian Hartz, who started with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer in 2000, was recognized by the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County, friends and coworkers on Tuesday for his 18 years of service. Hartz retired on Oct. 1, 2018.
