Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire on Coltons Point Road and Bill’s Way in Clements in St. Mary’s County.
It took three firefighters about a minute to control the fire that was reported by a passing motorist.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be incendiary.
A second mailbox was discovered on Hayes Lane in Maddox.
Damage is estimated at $120.
No injuries were reported as a result of either fire. Anyone with information about either fire is urged to call 443-550-6833.
