On May 26, 2015, an employee at the California Walmart reported a Hispanic male suspect grabbed an Xbox 1 from the checkout counter and ran out of the store.

He was seen getting into a silver vehicle with a Maryland registration. A lookout was broadcast for the vehicle. A short time later, Deputy Kontra from the Calvert County Sheriffโ€™s Office spotted and stopped the suspect vehicle in Calvert County on Route 4 at H.G. Truman Road.

Deputy S. Cameron responded to Calvert County and found a backseat passenger matching the suspect description. An Xbox was found inside the vehicle.

The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center by Deputy Schultz.

While completing the booking process, Deputy Schultz learned the name and date of birth provided by the suspect was false.

The suspect was subsequently identified as Jacob Jamal Sbeitan, age 32, of Huntingtown.

Sbeitan was charged with Theft Under $1,000, Property Destruction Under $1,000, and False Statement to Peace Officer.
