Man arrested after stolen vehicle runs out of gas

On March 28, 2015, at 4:14 PM, Deputy Foor responded to Three Notch Road in the area of Shady Mile Drive in California, for the report of a disabled vehicle.

Deputy Foor contacted the driver, identified as Robert John Loving, age 36, of Great Mills, who advised the vehicle ran out of gas.

While running the vehicle registration, Deputy Foor learned the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Loving was operating was stolen from a rental company at BWI airport.

Loving was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Motor Vehicle – Unlawful Taking and Failure to Return Rented Vehicle.
