On February 17 at 2:05 p.m., officers responded to Cypress Place in Indian Head for the report of a burglary.
The homeowner reported he arrived home early from work and observed his neighbor fleeing out of the rear door. A check of the house revealed prescription medications had been stolen. Officers canvassed the area and located the suspect, a 21-year-old male, at a nearby store.
The stolen medications were recovered and the suspect was taken into custody.
