On May 23, Deputy Patrick Handy responded to a residence in Lexington Park for a reported domestic assault.
Handy’s investigation revealed that Dale Lavar Waul,26, of Lexington Park assaulted his live-in girlfriend by choking her. Waul resisted Deputy Handy’s attempt to place him under arrest.
Waul was soon taken into custody and charged with Assault and Resisting Lawful Arrest.
