On May 29, 2011 deputies and troopers responded to Westbury subdivision in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival the officer noticed numerous individuals fleeing the area. Deputies also noticed several individuals attempting to calm Bernard Aloysius Banks, 22 of Lexington Park, Maryland who was yelling and screaming in the street. Deputies also attempted to calm Banks, but Banks refused to cooperate and continued to yell and scream. His yelling and screaming drew attention. Banks was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
There has been no confirmation if Mr. Banks’ arrest is related to our story on gang related violence but TBN is awaiting that info.
