At 8:43 a.m., on May 24 Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Charter Oak Drive in Waldorf for the report of the destruction of property in progress.
Investigation revealed Bryant Michael Thompson, 25, of Waldorf had thrown a brick through the front window of a family member’s residence and punched several large holes in the walls.
He was subsequently arrested and placed in a police cruiser. While the Thompson was in the cruiser he kicked out the rear passenger side window. No one was injured.
Thompson was charged with destruction of property more than $500 and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Officer J. Dodge investigated.
