At 9:40 p.m. June 15, Officer A. St. Germain of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office was flagged down by the victim, a 40-year-old Waldorf man, who reported he was robbed while on the footpath on Lancaster Circle in Waldorf.
Investigation revealed the victim was walking home from work when he was approached by five male suspects. The suspects stole cash from the victim and fled the area. The victim sustained non-life-threatening head and facial injuries.
Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The suspects were described only as five black males.
