On October 26, at 9:56 a.m., Kyle Matthew Sagers, 32 of La Plata, was arrested by Tpr. E. J. Page for possession of Marijuana.
Sagers was operating a silver Honda Civic on northbound Three Notch Road at South Sandgates Road in Mechanicsville when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Tpr. Page made contact with the driver, Sagers and a strong odor of burnt Marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Sagers was found to be in possession of a clear baggie of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.
Sagers was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
