On February 22, John Michael Jackson, 32 of Avenue, was in the Circuit Court for a child support review hearing. A warrant check on Jackson revealed he had an open warrant for violation of probation. Jackson was arrested on the open warrant.
A search of Jackson’s person at the detention center revealed two baggies filled with tobacco products and 16 pills concealed on his body. The pills were identified as Naproxen and Paxil.
Jackson was served the open warrant and charged additionally with possession of prescription medication with out a label and possession of contraband in a detention facility.
