On February 17, at 10:59 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 north of Rt. 2 in Sunderland. 

The driver, Benjamin D. McDowell, 39 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Marijuana after he tried to hide Marijuana in the vehicle during the traffic stop. 

He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
