On Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:03 a.m., TFC M. J. Pitcher conducted a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 246 and Shangri La Drive in Lexington Park on a green Ford Expedition for a traffic violation.
Upon making contact with the operator, identified with his license as Joseph David White, 48, of Park Hall, TFC Pitcher detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of White’s vehicle was conducted revealing Percocet pills not prescribed to White.
White was placed under arrest for Possession of CDS – Not Marijuana and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
