On Dec. 30 at about 3:45 a.m., officers responded to the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center for the report of a shooting victim in the emergency room.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a 19-year-old male who said he was leaving a party at an unknown address in the Fairway Village neighborhood when he heard three shots and noticed he had a gunshot wound to his hand.
The man called a friend to take him to the hospital. The man refused to cooperate with officers and did not provide any additional information. PFC W. Halt is investigating.
