A 22-year-old Indian Head man was robbed at knifepoint in Waldorf Thursday as he was getting into his car.
Police said they responded to the 2300 block of Albany Way at 10:20 p.m., and the victim told them he was approached by a male suspect who asked to use his phone. Once the victim gave the suspect his phone, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s money and car keys. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, and is approximately 20 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, has a medium build and was wearing a green shirt and jeans.
