At 12:04 p.m. Jan. 29, Blakeney Davis Burgess, 24, of Leonardtown was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana.
Burgess was operating a blue Chevrolet S-10 on Route 5 in Park Hall when he was stopped for failing to drive in a single lane. During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with Burgess and an odor of burnt Marijuana and alcohol were emitting from his breath, person and vehicle, police say.
Burgess was found to be in possession of Marijuana and was charged accordingly. He performed the field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was not charged with DUI. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
