On May 1, at 12:01 a.m., Dfc. T. Reese responded to a residence in Leonardtown for the report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed David Howell, 41 of Leonardtown, had assaulted the victim by pushing her and striking her in the face.
Howell was arrested without incident, charged with second-degree assault and incarcerated in the detention center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
