On October 16, 2010 deputies responded to North Megan Lane in Leonardtown, for a report of an assault.
Investigation revealed Clarence David Rohrer, 51 of Leonardtown, was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Rohrer pushed the victim onto a bed and struck her in the face. A third party at the residence attempted to intervene and stop the assault.
Rohrer knocked the third party to the ground and choked him.
Rohrer was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault.
