Solomons, MDโOn March 18, Calvert County Sheriffโs Office Dfc. Holt responded to Dowell Road in Solomons for the report of a disorderly subject.
Once Holt arrived on the scene, contact was made with the complainant who advised she works for The Hermitage located at Dowell Road. The complainant advised that, โbefore my (Holt) arrival a male subject walked onto the Hermitage property. The complainant advised she knew the subject as Eric James Gallodoro, 25, of Lusby,โ according to charging documents.
The complainant advised Gallodoro was speaking with one of the older residents. The complainant also advised, โGallodoro appeared to be under the influence of some drug,โ according to charging documents.
The complainant advised Gallodoro put his hands in the air and began to walk towards the complainant. The complainant advised she then told Gallodoro she was going to call the police. Gallodoro walked off the property in the direction of Curtis Road.
Contact was made with Gallodoro at Curtis Road and Dowell Road. “As we (officers) exited our vehicles, Gallodoro began to reach into his pockets and walk away. โAt this time, Gallodoro was told to stop reaching in his pocket. At this time, Gallodoro continued to reach in his pocket,โ according to charging documents.
Gallodoro attempted to run from Holt and Deputy Naughton of the Calvert County Sheriffโs Office. Gallodoro was tackled and placed in handcuffs. Once in cuffs, he was searched. Holt retrieved a white napkin from Gallodoroโs left front jean pocket. Seven white pills were found in the pocket.
Gallodoro was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with possession of Methadone, and Alprazolam, and also charged with resisting arrest.
Gallodoro has a court date scheduled for June 30 in District Court.
