At 11:59 p.m. April 8, A vehicle traveling southbound on Old Washington Road, north of MD Rt. 5, was stopped for a traffic violation by TFC R. Lemerise of the La Plata trooper barrack.

Upon contact with the driver, Jason Alexander Headen, 26, of Clinton, suspected marijuana flakes were observed on the front of his shirt.

A probable cause search was conducted and suspected marijuana, suspected crack cocaine, ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia were located.

Headen was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, possession of ecstasy, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review conducted this investigation.
