On May 26, 2015, Deputy Cole responded to a residence on Flower Drive for a domestic assault in progress.
The victim alleged suspect Daryl Clinton White, age 34, of Lexington Park, came home and became enraged when he could not find his Playstation 4.
The victim went upstairs to a bedroom to get away from White. White followed the victim into the room and locked the door. The victim repeatedly tried to get out of the room only to be grabbed by White.
The victim eventually made it to a window and was able to yell for help. A witness heard the victim’s screams for help and kicked in the door. The witness located the victim being held back by White.
The witness attempted to get in between White and the victim but was unable to do so. A second witness then entered the bedroom and was able to pull White off of the victim who then ran from the home and called 91 1.
The victim sustained minor injuries during the assault.
White was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and False Imprisonment.
