Waldorf, MD – On July 30, at approximately 11:37 a.m., Troopers from the Maryland State Police La Plata Barrack responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Maryland Route 301 in the area of Central Avenue, Waldorf, Maryland.
A preliminary investigation conducted by Troopers from the La Plata Barrack with assistance from members from the MSP Southern Region Crash Unit, indicates a Hyundai Elantra operated by Brittoney Green, 22, of Port Orange, FL, was traveling across northbound Route 301 from Central Avenue and a Suzuki GSXR600 motorcycle operated by Aaron Thompson, 19 of Waldorf, was traveling northbound in lane one.
The Hyundai Elantra traveled in the path of the Suzuki and was subsequently struck. Thompson was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics at approximately 11:41 a.m.. The investigation is continuing.
