
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – The below incidents, investigations, and arrests are, in part, demonstrative of the Prince Frederick Barrack’s effort to ensure that Calvert County is a safe place to live, work, and visit.
Traffic Stop / CDS – Not Marijuana – On July 22, 2020, Trooper Emerson conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 4755 Hallowing Point Road, Prince Frederick, for moving violations. Trooper Emerson made contact with the operator, Heather Christine Mallonee (01/14/76). A search of Mallonee’s vehicle revealed seven pills of suspected amphetamine in the back seat. Mallonee was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where she was charged accordingly.
Warrant Service – On July 24, 2020, Trooper First Class Costello and Trooper First Class Backus responded to Patuxent Plaza, Solomon’s Island, to make contact with a Trooper from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. The Trooper had Robert Barton Whitley (11/22/73) in custody for an open warrant (FTA – 2nd Degree Assault) through the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack. Whitley was turned over to Trooper First Class Costello and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where the warrant was served without incident.
Warrant Service – On July 25, 2020, Trooper First Class Whitman responded to the 1000 block of Prince Frederick Boulevard, Prince Frederick to assist the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office with a subject showing a warrant through the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack. Once on scene, Trooper First Class Whitman made contact with Emmett Odyssey Harry Gantt (08/28/60), who had an active warrant (2nd Degree Assault). Gantt was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where the warrant was served without incident.
