A feature that St. Mary’s County residents can option-in while signing up for CodeRED. The weather warning will automatically call citizens when severe weather warnings are issued by the National Weather Service for your address, and will call only if your address is in the path of the storm.

Calvert County’s ALERT
Calvert County’s emergency notification system, ALERT, allows officials to contact residents in the event of any emergency situation, including weather updates and employs mapping capability for geographic targeting of calls via telephone, cell phone, test and email messages. Residents are encouraged to register to receive these messages by visiting the county’s website at www.co.cal.md.us and clicking on Emergency Alerts.

Charles County’s Citizen Notification System (CNS)
Powered by Everbridge, this free service allows residents to receive emergency, weather and community notifications via phone calls, text messages, emails and more for the locations they care about in Charles County.
CNS allows residents to pick the type of notifications they wish to receive, including public safety, traffic, weather and community information notifications, and designate up to five addresses to receive appropriate notifications for specific county locations. Visit the Apple Store or Google Play and search for Everbridge Mobile Member.
