Units from Mechanicsville VFD Co. 2, Mechanicsville VRS Co. 29, and Hughesville VFD Co. 2 EMS were alerted Saturday evening for the motor vehicle collision in the south bound lanes at the intersection of Mechanicsville Road and Three Notch Road. The call came in at 10:32 p.m. MVFD responded with Squad 2, MVRS with Ambulance 299, HVFD with Paramedic Ambulance 27, and St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department. Crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles that had been involved in the collision. Crews operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes and three patients were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
