After stopping a vehicle for speeding in the area of Md. Rt. 4 at Ponds Wood Road in Huntingtown on February 21 at 11:45 p.m. Dep. C. Fox found the driver, identified as James E. O’Neal III, 26 of Mechanicsville, to be driving under the influence of alcohol. O’Neal also was in possession of suspected drugs and was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, a green metallic smoking device and plastic baggie as well as DUI.
