(Olney, MD, 9/13/2017)ย In a press conference held Wednesday evening, Montgomery County Police(MCP) announced that they had located the body of deceased Wilde Lake High School teacher Laura Wallen, 31, in a shallow grave in the woods in Damascus, MD.

MCP also announced that Wallen’s boyfriend, Tyler Tessier, has been charged with her murder. Tuesday night the MCP held a press conference, Tessier spoke, in which was described as a calculated move by the MCP to see his reaction.

Wallen, who was 4 months pregnant, was last seen over the Labor Day weekend and the last time she was heard from. Family and colleagues became suspicious when she did not show up for the first day of school.ย 

When police began the investigating the case, they found Wallen’s truck abandoned in an apartment complex off of Gramercy Place near Columbia Mall. At the press conference last night, police say Tessier drove the vehicle there and removed the front tag.ย 

Tessier has been charged with First-Degree Murder, Altering physical evidence and making a false statement to police officers. His next court date has not been announced as of this time.


(Rockville, MD) 9/13/2017- Ms. Wallen was reported as missing by her family on Monday, September 4.ย  Her vehicle was recovered by detectives unoccupied in Howard County on Thursday, September 7.ย  This afternoon, Ms. Wallen was located deceased.
