On February 27, 2012 a passer-by observed two bottles against the building at the former location of Woodburn’s Grocery Story in Solomons, which turned out to be “Molotov Cocktails” that were found to have been placed against the building by unknown suspect(s).
This has been recorded as an attempted arson.
There was very minimal damage to the building as a result and it was unknown when the incident actually occurred. Anyone with information about this attempted arson is asked to call the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, Southern Region at 443-550-6834.
