On May 1, 2015, Deputy Bare responded to a residence in the 22000 block of Farrell Way in Avenue, for a reported domestic assault.
The victim alleged suspect Abby Lynn Cooper, age 22, of Avenue, shoved the victim into the frame of a door during an argument over finances.
Deputy Bare observed a scratch on the victim’s arm. Cooper was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
