Update: At approximately 5:30 p.m. a call was placed to the 911 communications center for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle into a building.
Upon arrival emergency crews discovered a single vehicle into the FastStop just before the fairgrounds. Investigation revealed the driver was suffering from a diabetic emergency which contributed to the vehicle crashing into the building.
Only minor injuries were reported and the driver was taken to Medstar St. Mary’s hospital.
