At approximately 8:07 p.m. April 23, a call was placed to the emergency communications center for the report of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, officers found one vehicle, a Mercedes C350 up on the curb of Three Notch Road with 2 State Highway Administration barricades resting under the tires of the vehicle. It was also reported that the driver clipped a State Highway Administration road work sign before coming to rest on the curb of Three Notch Road. At this time, it is unclear exactly why the driver went off the roadway and clipped the sign.
The driver was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital.
