A man robbed a motorist at gunpoint of cash and cigarettes near South Essex Drive behind a Burger King on Great Mills Road Oct. 2, according a St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office report.
A white male, between 5’10 and 6’0″, approached the victim’s vehicle asking for a cigarette, then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash. The gunman grabbed the cash and cigarettes from the victim before running from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 30’s, approximately 5’10” to 6’0” tall, shoulder length sandy blonde hair, wearing blue jeans, a red hooded sweatshirt, and a black baseball cap.
