Prince Frederick, MD – Calvert County authorities report a motorist was taken to an area hospital as a result of a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon, Sept. 25 on Route 231.
According to the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (Company 2), the crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. near the Route 231 – Helena Drive intersection.
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reported westbound Route 231 was shut down for about an hour due to the collision.
Company 2 reported the injured motorist was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital for “a checkup.” No names of motorists have been released.
