Update- Motor vehicle accident with a hit and run reported

Update Dec.9 11:55 a.m.

One patient is being transported to Medstar St.Mary’s. Both roads are now open again. 

Lexington Park, MD— At approximately 11:20 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at Great Mills Road and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Blvd in the Lexington Park area. 

Injuries are reported as a result of this crash. A hit and run is also reported as a consequence of this crash. The patient is being treated at this time. 

Units has been dispatched.
