Clements, MD – St. Mary’s County authorities report a motorcyclist injured Sunday, Aug. 7 on Buckler Way in Clements was struck by another vehicle. The striking vehicle then left the scene. A helicopter was requested to fly the injured cyclist to Washington Hospital Center. According to the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, Maryland State Police Trooper 7 landed in a nearby ball field.

The incident remains under investigation by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at 301-475-8008.

At this time the subject riding the motorcycleย is currently being medevac (helicopter) to a local trauma center. ย ย 


Clements, MD— At approximately 6:45 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported in the area of Clements. One vehicle and a motorcycle are reported to have been involved in this accident.ย 

Injuries are reported as a result of this motor vehicle ย accident. Units have been dispatched to the accidentย scene.ย
