On 7/6/2021, Tpr. Jeremy Pope responded to Skyview Drive, Hollywood, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Michael Jay Straughan, 37 did assault the victim. Straughan was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree.
On 7/8/2021, Tfc A. Piscopo-Bann responded to Patuxent River Inn, Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD for a reported trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, Tfc Piscopo-Bann located the suspect, Erin Neveal Stokes, 21 of Lexington Park, MD on the property and she was previously issued a Notice Not to Trespass. Stokes also had an open arrest warrant through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office for Failing to Appear in Court. Stokes was charged with Trespassing on a Criminal Citation and released to the custody of a St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Deputy and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for her warrant service.
On 7/9/2021, Tfc A. Piscopo-Bann conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and Chafee Court, Oakville, MD. Upon making contact with the operator and passengers, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, the adult passenger, identified as Darrell Lawrence Clark Jr., 30 of Marlow Heights, MD was found to have suspected Marijuana (approximately 231 grams), packaging materials and approximately $2930 cash. Clark was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possess with Intent to Distribute; CDS: Possess Marijuana Greater than 10 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On 7/11/2021, Tpr. J. Engleman responded to Independence Drive, Oakville, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as David Isiah Butler, 48 of Oakville did assault the victims. Butler was placed under arrest and during a search incident to arrest, CDS-Not Marijuana was located on his person. Butler was and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree and CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana.
On 7/11/2021, Tfc E. Ruggles responded to Abis Street, Hollywood, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Son Truong Nguyen, 38 of Hollywood, MD did assault the victim. Nguyen was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree.
On 7/12/2021, Tfc M. Posch responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Golden Beach Road, Mechanicsville, MD for a reported erratic driver that had struck a trailer. The striking vehicle was located and a traffic stop conducted. The driver, identified as Crystal Lynn Quesenberry, 28 of Mechanicsville, MD was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence. A search incident to arrest, revealed seven (7) Fentanyl capsules and CDS paraphernalia. Queensberry was charged with DUI; CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana; and CDS: Possess-Paraphernalia.
On 7/12/2021, Tfc E. Ruggles was investigating a suspicious vehicle at the Patuxent River Inn, Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD. The operator initially gave a false name because she had two (2) open arrest warrants through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect, identified as Kerri Marie Hall, 39 of Piney Point, MD was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Fraud-Personal Identity to Avoid Prosecution and served with the open warrants.
