You can help Maryland State Police keep our highways safe.
While traveling, if you see a disabled vehicle, an aggressive driver, a suspected drunken driver, or other highway hazard, safely use your cellular phone to dial # 7 7. You will be connected with the nearest State Police barracks. Provide as complete a description as possible about the make/color of vehicle, license number and location/direction of travel. They will do their best to have the nearest available trooper respond and take the appropriate action.
If you witness a situation that is life-threatening, or demands an immediate emergency response, please call 911. Remember, do not let cellular phone use distract you from your driving. Use your phone wisely and safely.
