General Electric Co., Aircraft Engines Business Group, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $9,224,267 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-06-C-0088) for the procurement of one F414-GE-400 Spare Engine; eight combustion modules, seven fan modules, and one high pressure turbine module for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (51.8 percent); Madisonville, Ky. (20.9 percent); Hooksett, N.H. (12 percent); Rutland, Vt. (4.6 percent); Dayton, Ohio (2.5 percent); Jacksonville, Fla. (1.8 percent); Muskegon, Mich. (1.6 percent); Terre Haute, Ind. (1.6 percent); Bromont, Canada (1.4 percent); Asheville, N.C. (1.2 percent); and Evandale, Ohio ( 0.6 percent),ย  and is expected to be completed in December 2012.ย  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.ย  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
