You asked, we listened! Annmarie is now offering stained glass and glass bead making classes.

Learn the fundamentals behind stained glass art as we explore the copper foil technique.  Learn to cut, shape and grind glass, as well as foiling and soldering techniques to make a small sun catcher for your window.

Introduction to Stained Glass held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for adults ages 16 and up.  

Also, Introduction to Glass Bead Making, learn basic lamp work techniques to create your own stunning glass beads. Using a hothead torch, learn to pull a variety of “stringers,” forming basic round beads with various surface decorations.  Each person will come away with several glass beads to make a unique piece of jewelry.

This class is offered Saturday, December 11, 2010 10am- 3pm and  Sunday, December 12, 2010 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. This is at two-class series; Saturday and Sunday.

The next scheduled classes are November 2nd All About Abstraction Tuesday, November 2, 2010 – 9:00a.m. – 4:30 p.m. for grades 1-3, and All About Dadaism, Thursday, November 11, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m .for grades 1-3.
