Prince Frederick, MD – Understanding Your Grief is an 8-week course designed to help adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The course combines education and support in a group setting. Students will use the book Understanding Your Grief and the accompanying journal each week. The course is designed for those who have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years, but exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
The course begins on September 8, 2015 and will meet each Tuesday from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm until October 27, 2015. Meetings will be at the Burnett Calvert Hospice House located at 4559 Sixes Road, Prince Frederick. The cost to participants is $40 which includes the book and journal. Pre-registration is required.
