Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office detectives have arrested Eric Donell Warren, 22 of Waldorf, for a stabbing that occurred on July 25 at Lamontโ€™s Night Club in Pomonkey.

Officers responded to the night club at 11:57 a.m. July 25 for the report of the stabbing. Someone had already transported the victim, a 17-year-old Indian Head male, to Fort Washington Medical Center, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had also fled the scene.

During their investigation detectives discovered the victim and the suspect, who are acquaintances, were fighting when the suspect stabbed the victim. After interviewing witnesses, detectives identified Warren as the suspect.

On July 27, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Warren, charging him with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. On July 28 about 9:20 a.m., officers in the Warrant/Fugitive Unit apprehended Warren at his residence in Waldorf.

Warren is being held at the Charles County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond. Det. C. Shankster investigated.
