At 5:11 p.m. Sept. 22, TFC Nims stopped a vehicle on Route 235 at Rescue Lane, Hollywood, when the driver was observed not wearing a seatbelt.
During conversation with the driver, Robert Reed Blake, 18, of Brandywine, the handle of a baseball bat was observed protruding from under the driver’s seat.
Investigation revealed the bat was not being used for its intended purpose.
Blake was arrested and charged with concealed deadly weapon. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
