No License, No Belt, But Bags of Pot

At 10:40 am on Thursday, December 21, 2006, TFC Evans was patrolling Rt. 235 in the area of Rt. 247. 

A routine traffic stop was initiated on an Oldsmobile Cutlass because the driver was not wearing his seatbelt.  The driver was identified as, Marshall Delgado Butler, 36, of Bushwood. 

A check through MVA indicated Mr. Butler’s driving privileges were suspended.  Mr. Butler was arrested for driving on a suspended license.  A search incident to arrest revealed 2 small plastic bags of marijuana on the rear passenger floor of the vehicle. 

Butler was transported to St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
