Calvert Crusade for Children, a non-profit, community building, advocacy organization, is now accepting nominations for their 2009 Champions for Children Awards.
These awards recognize individuals or groups who are exemplary child advocates in Calvert County. Awards will be given in the three categories of Educational Opportunities, Healthy Children, and Strong Families and to an exemplary young person under the age of 22.
Winners will be honored at a celebratory dinner on May 28, at Kings Landing Park.
