The Maryland State Police Leonardtown barrack handled the following burglary and theft reports between July 12-21.

At 5:53 p.m. July 12, TFC E. Evans responded to a reported Burglary in the 48000 block of Leachburg Road in Lexington Park.  Upon arrival contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized his residence and took a Play Station console, games and several pieces of jewelry.  The investigation continues.

At 4:18 am, July 14, Trooper Adams responded to a reported Burglary 27000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville.  Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) smashed the front glass door of the establishment and attempted to gain entry into the ATM cabinet.  The suspect(s) fled the scene and the investigation continues.

At 1:44 p.m. July 15, TFC Linger responded to a reported Burglary in the 26000 block of N. Sandgates Road in Mechanicsville.  Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) entered the shed and stole an orange and gray Husqvarna leaf blower and an orange Husqvarna Chainsaw, Model 455 Ranger.  The investigation continues.

At 7:21 a.m. July 16, Trooper C. Evans responded to a reported Burglary in the 22000 Block of National Circle in Lexington Park.  Contact was made with the female victim who advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized her trailer.  Nothing was taken from the trailer, however there was damage to a window and siding along side the window.  Investigation continues.

At 10:30 a.m. July 17, Trooper McCartney responded to the report of a theft of a road sign at Williams Lane in Clements.  Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) took the private road sign.  No further information is available and the investigation continues.

At 8:29 a.m. July 21, TFC Fleetwood responded to a reported Theft from a residence under construction on Dos Santos Way in Mechanicsville.  Contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) stole one roll of blank copper sheeting – 14” x 100’, one roll of blank copper sheeting – 20” x 100’, 20 copper panels, 2’ x 17”, 10 pieces of 10’ copper drip edge and miscellaneous copper scrap.  Total estimated loss $2,300.00.  The investigation is continuing.
